# Carbon Fiber Gravel Bikes The 'Sirrus Carbon X 6.0' Features An Innovative Frame Design By Rahul Kalvapalle | Published 2023-03-29 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carbon-fiber-gravel-bike References: [bikeradar](https://www.bikeradar.com/news/2023-specialized-sirrus-carbon/) & [specialized](https://www.specialized.com/ca/) Specialized Bicycle Components, a California-based company that literally and figuratively specializes in the design and manufacture of innovative bicycles, has launched a carbon fiber gravel bike that offers similar performance to its predecessors but with a striking new feature in the form of a renewed frame. The 'Sirrus Carbon X 6.0' makes predominant use of [carbon fiber in its frame](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carbon-fiber-frame). However, rather than the use of materials, the most stunning feature of this particular frame is the use of what's known as a 'compliance junction' design. This design features the seat linking with the seat tube, from where there's a connection to the down tube. This allows for maximum flexibility and performance. Elsewhere, this carbon fiber gravel bike features high-end elements such as a [SRAM GX Eagle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/explorer-peak) drivetrain and Level TLM hydraulic disc brakes. The bike is priced at $3,000, a reasonable price considering this is a gravel bike that weighs in at only 9.2 kg.
