# Colorful Car Collision Captures Collibri Turns Tragedy into Beautiful Car Crash Art By Kyle Towers | Published 2013-03-02 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/car-crash-art References: [english.mashkulture.net](http://english.mashkulture.net/2013/02/27/conny-crash/) & [collibri.net](http://www.collibri.net/) By removing an explosive event from its original backdrop and placing it in front of pleasant colors, Collibri creates his car crash art. The results of this project turned out quite beautifully. Instead of the mangled and intertwined cars looking like tragic and horrific events, the scene is disassociated with real life and can be appreciated despite the typically violent nature of these accidents. The cars almost come across as graceful and elegant, especially the ones that are captured mid-air. Who knew car crash art could be so enchanting? Car crashes are known for drawing in attention, but not usually in the way in which Collibri has achieved. These pieces show that with minor tweaks and adjustments our perceptions can be changed for the good or bad. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Transformative Car Art:** The use of vibrant colors and artistic framing in car crash art turns tragic events into visually captivating and graceful works. - **Perception-altering Art:** Artistic manipulation of context can change our perception of violent events, making them more palpable and aesthetically pleasing. - **Reimagined Tragedies:** By reinterpreting car crashes through art, Collibri demonstrates the potential to transform tragic incidents into beautiful and thought-provoking creations. ### Where This Applies - **Automotive:** The automotive industry can explore opportunities to incorporate aesthetic elements and creative design approaches to enhance safety features. - **Art:** The art industry can embrace the concept of transforming tragic events into visually appealing creations that challenge viewers' perspectives. - **Marketing:** Brands in the marketing industry can leverage the transformative power of art to communicate messages with impact, redefining traditional advertising approaches. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Car-Themed Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/veiled-porsche.md) - [Generative Art-Wrapped Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kaoru-tanaka.md) - [Explosion-Damaged Sculpture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness.md) - [Crystal-Adorned Crushed Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sam-keller.md) - [Playful Art Character Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porsche-labubu-project.md) - [Dynamic Artful Car Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bmw-m-hybrid-v8.md) - [Artistically Rendered One-Of-A-Kind Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romero-britto.md) - [Race Car-Inspired Dynamic Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gerry-judah-1.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md)
