The mirror on display at [CES](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-done-simple) 2019 showcases how easy it is to get an update on current traffic conditions, the weather for the day or one's email inbox thanks to the mirror's surface, which doubles as a touchscreen with a built-in full-touch keyboard. For a hands-free approach, the smart mirror also works with Google Assistant and boasts the ability to recognize up to six different voices to relay only the information that is relevant to the individual speaking. When it comes to managing the mirror, the Capstone Connected Control Hub may be used—it will be the basis for all smart products from Capstone in the years to come. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Assistive Smart Mirrors:** Smart mirrors become more than just a reflection of oneself, providing platforms that can interact with different voice and AI assistants. - **Touchscreen Mirrors:** Mirrors with built-in touchscreens were once things of science fiction, but now they're becoming reality with a wealth of smart capabilities. - **Multiple Voices Recognition:** AI-voice smart mirrors designed for multiple users, tailored to provide only the necessary information to the individual using it. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Smart Home:** Smart mirrors are the perfect addition to Smart Homes, providing added personalization and customization options. - **Beauty and Fashion:** Touchscreen mirrors may completely revolutionize the way people purchase beauty and fashion products, offering new levels of interactive shopping experiences. - **Hospitality Industry:** Hotels and other hospitality providers may consider smart mirrors as a welcome addition for their guests' personal use, with ability to integrate features such as room service ordering and entertainment streaming. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Powered Styling Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heymirror-smart-dressing-mirror.md) - [Interactive Beauty Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-micro-led-beauty-mirror.md) - [Smart Health Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/withings-omnia.md) - [Intelligent Illumination Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lifx-supercolor-mirror.md) - [Advanced Body-Scanning Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnia-1.md) - [Health-Monitoring Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nuralogix-longevity-mirror.md) - [Mental-Health Smart Mirror Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mio-smart-mirror.md) - [Voice-Activated Acoustic Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sound-mirror.md) - [Mental Health Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baracodas-bmind-smart-mirror.md)
