# Paper Cap Lighting The Cappello Lamp Features an Elegant Minimalist Design By Meghan Young | Published 2010-12-02 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cappello-lamp References: [contemporist](http://www.contemporist.com/2010/12/01/the-cappello-lamp-from-molo-design/) & [molodesign](http://www.molodesign.com/) I'm loving the [minimal look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-light) of the Cappello Lamp. Its simple design would complement any home decor, fitting in seamlessly. Designed by Molo Design and manufactured by [Flos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flos), the Cappello Lamp is named after its '[paper cap' shade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farolito). Set into a marble stand, it is both elegant and crafty. A perfect gift for the minimalist in your circle of friends and family, it could brighten up anyone's day--literally and figuratively. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Lighting Design:** Opportunity to create innovative lighting solutions with simple and elegant designs. - **Paper Cap Shades:** Opportunity to explore the use of paper cap shades in various industries for a unique and crafty aesthetic. - **Seamless Home Decor:** Opportunity to develop products that seamlessly blend into any home decor for a cohesive and visually pleasing look. ### Where This Applies - **Lighting:** Innovative lighting companies can explore minimalist designs and incorporate paper cap shades into their products. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can create products that seamlessly fit into any home decor style for a more cohesive and personalized look. - **Gifts & Accessories:** Companies in the gifts and accessories industry can offer unique and elegant lighting options that make for perfect minimalist gifts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hat-Like Fabric Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flying-lamp.md) - [Minimalist 3D-Printed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3dprinted-lamp1.md) - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md) - [Artistic Statement Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toto.md) - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Stunningly Minimalist Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-lighting-design.md) - [Minimal Modern Oil Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-capsule-oil-lamp.md) - [Retro-Tinged Compact Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lari-mini.md) - [Minimalist Tech Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20.md)
