The Capital Bee ad campaign may look familiar to you. That is because it was clearly inspired by [Magnus Muhr](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dead-fly-pictures)'s dead fly art that was all the rage just a couple of years ago. Of course, mimicking his work is definitely a great compliment, especially when it is for such a good cause.

Essentially, the Capital Bee ad campaign is raising awareness throughout London, England about failing [bee colonies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/endangered-species-series) in the city as well as around the world. It essentially encourages community beekeeping and bee-friendly behavior such as growing bee-pollinated foods, [buying locally sourced honey](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hive-mind-honeyade) and minimizing pesticide use.

Conceived and executed by LIDA Agency and M&C Saatchi, the Capital Bee ad campaign is part of a larger push to create community food growing areas by the 2012 Olympics.
