These clever sculptures are actually pieces of discarded trash, which have been transformed into canvas-like platforms to create quirky life-like monsters. Artist Steve Casino is known for creating [sculptures from found objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-sculptures) such as peanut shells. However, for this particular collection he makes use of physical pieces of garbage, which would otherwise end up in a landfill.

The quirky monsters are created from old headphones, dental floss, empty lighters and other objects. Each piece of artwork is sculpted and hand-painted to give new life to the discarded objects.

Each piece of artwork is displayed on the artist's social media platforms such as [Instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-drop). The quirky monsters are then captioned with an appropriate line. For example, Steve used an empty stick of 'Secret' deodorant and captioned it "'My little Secret is a rather large one."
