The brand new blueberry muffin cannabis bites are the latest and greatest addition to a collection that already includes the well-received Choco Chip, Snickerdoodle and Brownie flavors. These blueberry muffin bites boast a soft texture and are available with 5 milligrams of cannabis in Massachusetts, while dispensary customers over in Delaware and Maryland can obtain these tasty bites with 10 milligrams of cannabis. Jay O'Malley, vice-president of marketing and R&D over at MariMed, noted that the long-held practice of people spiking their delicious desserts with marijuana was what inspired the brand itself. "Fans of [Bubby’s Baked](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pumpkin-bread-bites) told us they love the taste and effect that our original three flavors deliver and they want more," O'Malley revealed. "We’re excited to introduce a fresh take on the classic wake ‘n’ bake with our new infused Blueberry Muffin bites.” Image Credit: MariMed Inc. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 43% | Freshness: 18% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Cannabis-infused Edibles:** The addition of blueberry muffin cannabis bites to the Bubby's Baked line shows the growing demand for tasty and convenient cannabis-infused edibles. - **Variety in Flavors and Potency:** The expansion of the Bubby's Baked line to include blueberry muffin bites with different cannabis potency levels caters to a diverse consumer base looking for a choice in flavors and effects. - **Integration of Traditional Desserts with Cannabis:** MariMed's incorporation of cannabis into traditional desserts like blueberry muffins presents an opportunity to disrupt the edibles market and attract new consumers seeking familiar flavors. ### Who This Affects Most - **Cannabis:** The introduction of blueberry muffin cannabis bites highlights the continued innovation within the cannabis industry, particularly in the edibles segment. - **Food & Beverage:** The launch of cannabis-infused blueberry muffin bites underscores the intersection of the food and cannabis industries, showcasing the potential for creating unique edible experiences. - **Product Development & Marketing:** MariMed's expansion of its Bubby's Baked line with new flavors and potencies demonstrates the importance of ongoing product development and targeted marketing strategies in the cannabis edibles market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Seasonal Cannabis Bread Bites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pumpkin-bread-bites.md) - [Vegan-Friendly Fruity Cannabis Bites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jublee-fruit-bites.md) - [Regional Recipe Cannabis Gummies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/codes-blueberry-gooey-cake-gummies.md) - [Cannabis Brownie Baking Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/benevolent-bakery-double-chocolate-brownie-mix.md) - [Strawberry Lemonade THC Chews](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thc-chew.md) - [Record-Breaking Cannabis-Infused Brownies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/worlds-largest-cannabis-brownie.md) - [Festive Cannabis-Infused Baked Goods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingerbread-crme-pie-edibles.md) - [Cannabis-Infused Hot Chocolate Mixes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubbys-baked-hot-cocoa.md) - [Indulgent Cannabis Chews](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bettys-caramelt-away.md)
