Described as 'something you would see in a Hansel and Gretel storybook', these pieces are vibrantly hued and deceptively sweet in their design. These delicious furniture pieces boast a marbled look that is reminiscent of marshmallow-infused candy snacks. The stools are covered in a blend of pink, purple and blue tones and look as if they are melting. Jojo Chuang's Candy Furniture collection is a great addition to modern interiors or [kids' rooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kids-collection) with a sugar rush theme. Each of these furnishings is an instant statement piece thanks to its [sculptural design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co). In addition to aesthetics, these stools are comfortable for users and are compact in size. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Candy-inspired Furniture:** The trend of designing furniture collections inspired by desserts and confectioneries can disrupt the furniture industry by creating more playful and expressive designs. - **Marbled Furniture Finishes:** The trend of using marbled finishes in furniture design can disrupt the furniture industry by adding depth and texture to traditional furniture designs. - **Compact Statement Pieces:** The trend of designing compact but statement-making furniture can disrupt the furniture industry by offering versatility and functionality in smaller spaces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The candy-inspired furniture trend can disrupt the furniture industry by tapping into the playful nature of furniture design and appealing to a wider audience. - **Interior Design:** The candy-inspired furniture trend can disrupt the interior design industry by offering a new and unique way of incorporating playful and colorful elements into a space. - **Home Decor:** The candy-inspired furniture trend can disrupt the home decor industry by introducing a whimsical and playful aesthetic into traditional home furnishings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Candy-Inspired Cylindrical Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candy-table.md) - [Modular Seating Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candy-modular-seating.md) - [Colorful Gelatin Dessert-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-jelly-collection.md) - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Mochi-Inspired Seating Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mochiinspired-seating.md) - [Danish Pastry-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-art-collection.md) - [Paper-Formed Premium Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pastille.md) - [Toy Block-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloc-collection.md) - [Oozing Cake-Like Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roll-furniture.md)
