# Cubic Copper Candelabras Kubus Candle Stands are a Dramatic Way to Display Flickering Lights By Gil Cohen | Published 2013-08-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candle-stands References: [nordicaarv.tumblr](http://nordicaarv.tumblr.com/post/57777420541) & [bylassen](http://www.bylassen.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=123&Itemid=54&lang=en) Each of the Kubus [candelabras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woaw-collection-by-nader-gamma) feature four candle stands that are all attached on a square base that results in a dramatically flared effect when all four candles are lit. The smooth and shiny [brass finish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape) of the candle stand design creates a heavy duty industrial style that suits both a masculine design aesthetic as well as a feminine one as it is simultaneously rugged and chic. This piece will look lovely on a mantlepiece, on a dining room table or on a side table in the living room, casting flickering lights all around the area for a warm and inviting appearance. Place a few of the Kubus candle stands next to each other to amp up the wow factor. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Dramatic Candle Stands:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore innovative materials and designs to create unique and eye-catching candle stands for a dramatic effect. - **Industrial Chic Aesthetics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine rugged and chic design elements to create products that appeal to both masculine and feminine aesthetics. - **Multi-purpose Candle Displays:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop versatile candle stands that can be used in various settings, such as mantelpieces, dining tables, and living room side tables. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Décor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Innovate in the home décor industry by creating unique and visually striking candle stands. - **Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce new lighting products that not only provide illumination but also serve as decorative pieces. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with interior designers to create innovative candle displays that enhance the overall aesthetic of a space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luxurious Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-candle-holders.md) - [Architectural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/core-candle-holder.md) - [Stacked Candle Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candl-stacks.md) - [Fire-Inspired Artful Candelabras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forge-candelabra.md) - [Adorable Bee-Inspired Candlesticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beeinspired-candlesticks.md) - [Fire Connection-Inspired Candleholders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/charles-kalpakian-1.md) - [Interestingly Shaped Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poise-candle-holder.md) - [Modular Candleholder Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-candleholder.md) - [Ritual Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-mater.md)
