When creating the [Canada Pavilion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aircraft-engine-testing) for the 2010 Expo in Shanghai, developers went to an unlikely source for inspiration. Acrobatic group Cirque de Soleil was asked to help design the building, and the result is an [eco-friendly modern design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/picoplanktonics).

The Canada Pavilion is an odd shaped building, but what’s more interesting is the attention towards the environment. The pavilion is made to have a special green wall, and even better, it will also collect rain water through the green wall which will then be used in the pavilion.

A cool design from some crazy acrobats! Check it out.
