The tarp maintains an expansive size that is capable of covering areas large enough for up to six people with outdoor furniture to boot. The shelter will collapse down into a duffle bag-sized unit when not in use to maximize portability and storage. The shelter is perfect for protecting campers or day trippers from the sun, but also works well in the rain to prevent inclement weather from ruining trips. The Cinch Outdoors 'Shelter' camping tarp offers over 116-square-feet of space with the highest point 6.5-feet to accommodate most campers when standing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Expanded Camping Shelters:** The trend of shelters like the Cinch Outdoors 'Shelter' camping tarp creates an opportunity for businesses to offer comparable products with added features. - **Modular Campsite Equipment:** Innovative businesses may create modular campsite equipment that can work with the Cinch Outdoors 'Shelter' camping tarp or similar shelters to enhance their functionality and convenience. - **Eco-friendly Campsite Shelters:** The rise in outdoor recreation requires the production of eco-friendly campsite shelters that are both lightweight and durable, which presents opportunities for businesses to create such products. ### Where This Applies - **Outdoor Recreation Equipment:** Companies that focus on outdoor recreation equipment can tap into this trend of camping shelters to offer additional products to their customers. - **Modular Home Furnishings:** Modular home furnishings businesses can offer modular camping equipment, such as furniture to complement these shelters and provide more options for their customers. - **Eco-friendly Manufacturing:** The production of eco-friendly campsite shelters requires innovative techniques and materials that can be manufactured by companies with a focus on sustainable practices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Space-Saving Camper Awnings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonshade-xl.md) - [Consolidated Camping Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/consolidated-camping-shelter.md) - [Oversized Cave-Like Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heimplanet-cave-xl-tent.md) - [Multipurpose Camping Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multipurpose-camping-shelters.md) - [Oversized Family-Friendly Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snow-peak-land-nest-shelter.md) - [Durable Adventure-Ready Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-acadia.md) - [Oversized Mobile Outdoor Gazebos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coleman-gazebo-event-shelter.md) - [Compactly Cubical Camping Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubical-camping-shelters.md) - [Durable Outdoor Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/t4-overland-exp-hub.md)
