Designed with a strong aluminum frame, the Treepod Camper is capable of supporting up to two adults within the unit or a total of 500-pounds when installed. The Treepod Camper tent enables [camping enthusiasts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyperlite-crosspeak-2-tent) to be suspended a few feet from the ground in order to eliminate the worry that rain will flood the campsite and render their sleeping quarters soggy. What's more, the [hanging design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anymaka-hammock-tent) of the Treepod Camper helps to keep gear clean, bugs out and even provide a more comfortable sleep because sleepers won't be on the hard ground. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cold Weather Camping:** Opportunity to create innovative camping gear and equipment designed specifically for cold weather conditions. - **Suspension Camping:** Opportunity to develop new types of suspended sleeping systems for camping, providing comfort and protection from damp ground. - **Vertical Off-ground Camping:** Opportunity to design and manufacture camping gear that allows campers to sleep above the ground, providing added safety and comfort. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Recreation:** Opportunity for outdoor companies to develop and market camping equipment suitable for various weather conditions. - **Camping Gear Manufacturing:** Opportunity for manufacturers to create and sell durable and innovative suspended camping gear. - **Adventure Tourism:** Opportunity to offer unique camping experiences that include suspended sleeping systems and off-ground camping options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Omni-Position Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/float-tent.md) - [Customizable Two-Level Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loft-tent.md) - [Ergonomic Suspended Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switra-swisstrail.md) - [Family-Friendly Suspended Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tentsile-stingray.md) - [Inflatable Four-Season Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-station-pod01.md) - [Lightweight Suspended Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suspended-tents.md) - [Featherlight Lay-Flat Camping Hammocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haven-spectre-tent.md) - [Heavy-Duty Hammock Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heavyduty-hammock-tent.md) - [Family-Friendly Camping Van Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/van-rooftop-tent.md)
