# Camouflage Body Painting Body Art as a Disguise By Cowbag | Published 2008-08-24 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camouflague-body-painting-body-art-as-a-disguise References: [crookedbrains.net](http://www.crookedbrains.net/2007/05/amazing-body-painting-art-larger-image.html) & [paintedalive](http://www.paintedalive.com/HTML-WWW/saints.html) This [camouflage body painting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skylrk-camo) is simply amazing. If you look closely, you can barely see the outline of the human body. I don’t actually like the style of the paintings, as they seem a bit like paintings you would buy in a shop that is playing whale music. But, I do like the way the art is adorned onto people. Painted alive is the name under which creator Craig Tracy has worked for twenty years. You can buy [prints of his online](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/image-painter) and there is also a small selection of works for sale which are not painted on skin. Kissing Fish - I also wanted to post about these brilliant [fish face paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summertime-art-box). Face painting is nothing new but I can’t remember having seen an example of where two people interact such as these fish. The creator of these fish is uncredited so I can’t give them a ‘shout out’ - but if it’s you good work. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Camouflage Body Painting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the use of advanced pigments and techniques to create even more realistic camouflage body art. - **Painted Alive Prints:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a platform that allows artists to sell and showcase their body painting works online. - **Interactive Face Paintings:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with face painters to create interactive designs that involve multiple people or elements. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate technology, such as augmented reality, into traditional art forms like body painting. - **Online Marketplace:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a specialized online marketplace for body painting artists and enthusiasts. - **Entertainment and Events:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate interactive face painting experiences into various entertainment events, festivals, and parties. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Body Paint Fashion Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miley-cyrus-maison-margiela.md) - [Travel-Inspired Canvas Paintings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-passport-series.md) - [Human Nature-Themed Art Galleries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sea-im-awake.md) - [Artful Suspended Fashion Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-figures.md) - [Stylized Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-to-all.md) - [Color-In Fish Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summertime-art-box.md) - [Apocalypse Post Pandemic Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contemporary-urban-art.md) - [Photo Art Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/image-painter.md) - [Artful Camo Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skylrk-camo.md)
