The photographer frequently pairs personality with atmosphere, creating short stories and brief character development. The gap in the stories is left for the audience to fill in, lending the series an intensely engaging presence. The natural lighting and simple compositional style is effective, and put emphasis on the subjects. Verdiyeva's ability to transcend the noise of suburbia, and centralize her artistic vision is remarkable. Camila Verdiyeva is based in Ukhta, Russia.
