# Counterbalanced Camera Straps The Camera Lift-Strap Takes the Pressure Off of Your Neck By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2017-05-31 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-liftstrap References: [thegadgetflow](http://thegadgetflow.com/portfolio/camera-lift-strap-revolution-traveling-photographers/) & [ponteleather](https://www.ponteleather.com/) Carrying a camera around your neck when traveling can be exceedingly uncomfortable, so the Camera Lift-Strap is intended to provide a way to relieve the pressure. The strap works by being affixed onto your camera just like any other camera strap and being carried around your neck. The main difference in the strap is that the portion that would otherwise rest on the back of your neck is affixed onto a backpack handle in order to counterbalance the weight of your DSLR. The Camera Lift-Strap is stylish in aesthetic and provides an optimal way to ensure that you don't have to have a sore neck at the end of a day trip. The strap is designed to work with any camera make or brand for increased functionality. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Counterbalanced Camera Straps:** The Camera Lift-Strap provides a solution to relieve pressure from camera straps and opens up potential for other counterbalanced wearable devices. - **Travel Gear Design:** Developing innovative travel accessories like the Camera Lift-Strap can lead to new opportunities in travel gear design and functionality. - **Professional Photography Accessories:** Creating high-quality and ergonomic camera accessories like the Camera Lift-Strap can disrupt the professional photography industry and enhance user experience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Camera Accessories:** The Camera Lift-Strap enhances camera accessories and presents opportunities for further innovations in ergonomic camera gear. - **Travel Accessories:** Products like the Camera Lift-Strap improve consumer experience with travel accessories, and can lead to similar innovations in the industry. - **Professional Photography:** Developing high-quality and ergonomic camera accessories like the Camera Lift-Strap opens up room for innovation and improvements in the professional photography industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Hybrid Camera Straps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quimera-camera-strap.md) - [Innovative Camera Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovative-camera-carrier.md) - [Travel Photographer Accessory Lineups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rotastrap-and-rotalock.md) - [Compact Camera Hand Straps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peak-design-micro-clutch.md) - [Vegan-Friendly Photography Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoulder-camera-strap.md) - [Magnetic DSLR Camera Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swiftlock-camera-carrying-system.md) - [Stylish Camera-Friendly Backpacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carryfly-travel-backpack.md) - [Convenient Camera Keychain Grips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-bug.md) - [Smartphone Photographer Sling Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiftcam-workflow-sling.md)
