# Balanced Ergonomic Camera Holsters The Spider Camera Holsters Secure a DSLR to Your Waist By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2016-12-27 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-holsters References: [thegadgetflow](http://thegadgetflow.com/portfolio/spider-camera-holster/) & [spiderholster](http://spiderholster.com/) Carrying a [DSLR camera](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clips-camera) on a [neck strap](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phone-sling) can quickly create a knot in your neck, so the Spider Camera Holsters are intended to help take the pressure off your neck. The holster works by being affixed onto your waist rather than your neck in order to balance the heavy weight of the equipment without [securing it into a bag](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wotancraft-rider-v2). The Spider Camera Holsters help to keep your equipment within reach to ensure that you never miss a shot when you're out exploring or on an adventure. The holsters work to keep your camera securely fastened to the waistband in order to ensure it will never drop off or fall when it's locked into place on the unit. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Balanced Camera Holsters:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in camera accessories by designing holsters that distribute the weight of a DSLR camera to other body parts. - **Ergonomic Camera Carrying Solutions:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in camera accessories by developing ergonomic solutions that alleviate neck strain and improve comfort during photography. - **Secure Camera Attachment:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in camera accessories by creating secure attachments that prevent cameras from falling or dropping during active use. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies to create camera accessories that prioritize user comfort and convenience. - **Outdoor Adventure Gear:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the outdoor industry by integrating camera holsters into adventure gear to provide convenient and secure camera carrying options. - **Sports and Action Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies to design camera holsters specifically tailored for sports and action photography to ensure secure and accessible camera attachment during fast-paced activities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Innovative Camera Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovative-camera-carrier.md) - [Magnetic DSLR Camera Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swiftlock-camera-carrying-system.md) - [Dynamic Hybrid Camera Straps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quimera-camera-strap.md) - [Convenient Camera Keychain Grips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camera-bug.md) - [Travel Photographer Accessory Lineups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rotastrap-and-rotalock.md) - [Compact Camera Hand Straps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peak-design-micro-clutch.md) - [Smartphone Photographer Sling Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiftcam-workflow-sling.md) - [Ergonomic Solo Shooting Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clips-camera.md) - [Vegan-Friendly Photography Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shoulder-camera-strap.md)
