Packed with an HD camera, the 'Cleep' can capture photos and videos in a [handsfree manner](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-osmo-nano) to ensure you never miss the action because your phone isn't nearby. The 'Cleep' features [motion-detecting technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tband) that will automatically sense when you are positioning your wrist to capture a moment. This turns the camera on and gets it ready to take a video or a photo without having to open an app or turn the device on with a switch. Users can then simply press the shutter button on the 'Cleep' camera bracelet to start recording. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Wearable Camera Tech:** The rise of wearable tech including cameras opens up opportunities for new applications and uses for hands-free recording and capturing. - **Motion Detection Technology:** Motion detecting technology like that used in the Cleep camera bracelet shows potential for new applications in various industries beyond photography. - **Direct-control Wearable Tech:** The development of wearable tech that can be operated directly from the wrist or other body parts offers new opportunities for hands-free operation and interaction with digital devices. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography and Videography Industry:** The Cleep camera bracelet and related technologies could disrupt and innovate traditional photography and videography, as well as open up new possibilities for professionals in these fields. - **Sporting and Outdoor Industry:** The hands-free recording capabilities of wearable camera tech like the Cleep bracelet can offer opportunities for athletes, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts to capture their experiences with ease. - **Consumer Electronics Industry:** The development of motion detection technology and direct-control wearable tech illustrates a growing focus on integrated experiences and offers opportunities for businesses involved in the development and production of consumer electronics. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Attachable Eyewear Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spatial-video-camera.md) - [Compact Body Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-body-camera.md) - [Voice Capture Smart Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stream-ring.md) - [Setting-Describing Wearable Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seekr.md) - [Pebble-Shaped Vlogging Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kyu-camera.md) - [Streetwear-Branded Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/supreme-onehanded-editing-camera.md) - [Hybrid Camera Headphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/musiccam.md) - [Point-and-Shoot-Inspired Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-cybershot.md) - [Wearable Athlete Smartphone Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-control-wearable-remote.md)
