This is brilliant--a stroke of genius combines [calligraphy and graffiti](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rusto).

The leader in the awesome field of calligraffiti is Niels Meulman, aka Shoe. His work has already been seen in the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. He’s truly set to become a new, and at last different, icon of the [street art world](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1). Sadly, his Holland-based expo has just closed.

I am heading to Amsterdam in a few weeks and going to make a massive point to check out some of his work in person for sure.
