The app was unveiled during the WWDC 2024 keynote -- this marks a special milestone as a notable revolution since the launch of the tablet in 2010. The calculator is joining the device as a part of the iPadOS 18 update. Beyond just being a larger version of the app from the iPhone, it also introduces a unique feature dubbed Math Notes. Users can write out equations with their Apple Pencil and watch the changes apply in their own handwriting. The feature adds a new way to interact with math problems and makes the process more engaging and educational.
