ButterflyBoard is a portable and articulated whiteboard that offers technology to satisfy even the most mobile users. In theory, the whiteboard's simplicity is all that one needs; many people think of a whiteboard as just a canvas, with what gets written on it as the important subject matter. While ButterflyBoard still highlights consumers ideas, it makes it easier to have those [brainstorming sessions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thinkpost) anywhere and to save the brilliance that comes of them. ButterflyBoard consists of several thin slats of whiteboard with [magnetic edges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m-note). These edges can fit together in an array of formations, making ButterflyBoard adjustable to users' needs. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 57% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Portable Whiteboards:** Creating portable, flexible, and articulated whiteboard technology for mobile users on the go. - **Magnetic Boards:** Developing magnetic edges for whiteboards that offer customization for users' individual needs - **Visual Collaboration Tools:** Creating digital and physical tools that allow for creative collaboration and sharing of ideas. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Office Supplies:** Innovating whiteboard technology for the office supplies industry to offer portable, flexible, and articulated solutions. - **Education:** Developing magnetic whiteboards for use in classrooms to assist with visual learning and interactive teaching. - **Technology:** Expanding the use of visual collaboration tools within the technology industry to enhance remote team work and productivity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Magnetic Whiteboard Notebooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whiteboard-notebook.md) - [Multifunctional One-Piece Stationary](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mover-erase-unisize.md) - [Whiteboard Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deskboard-buddy.md) - [Interactive Task Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-freeboard-app.md) - [Virtual Whiteboard Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whiteboard-owl.md) - [Angled Workstation Whiteboard Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluidstance-slope.md) - [Ergonomic Whiteboard Laptop Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lift-laptop-riser-and-whiteboard.md) - [Illuminated Stainless Steel Clipboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fold-b.md) - [Multifunctional Projection Mobile Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atmus-mobile-desk.md)
