# Anti-Bush Games Bush Whacking and More By karl burkart | Published 2008-08-15 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bush-whacking-and-other-anti-bush-games References: [trendhunter](http://www.trendhunter.com/karlbach) As it seems impeachment is now off the table, a bunch of get-back-at-Bush toys and games have hit the market. It all started off with Bush's own PR team who came up with the original, hilarious and incredibly ironic [George W. Bush Yoyo](http://yoyowiki.org/wiki/Yobonic_Bush_Yo) in 2000. Ironic because Bush is probably the only president who will be able to lay claim to the fact that the words "Bush" and "Yoyo" appear together in the same sentence nearly 780,000 times (Google). Now there is a paddle toy called the Bush Whacker. With the tagline "We've been Bushwhacked and it's time to Whack Back" the paddle features George W's face and will provide hours of entertainment for your cranky anti-Bush friends. It can be ordered [here](http://www.caffeetc.com/main.html). There are also a few distasteful (though rather funny) toys like the [George W. Bush Voodoo Doll](http://politicalhumor.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ/Ya&sdn=politicalhumor&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.prankplace.com%2Fbushvoodookit.htm%3FKBID%3D3908) and a [gag toilet paper](http://www.prankplace.com/bushtoiletpaper.htm?KBID=3908) gift with Bush's face prominently displayed on each sheet. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Anti-bush Toys:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative and humorous anti-Bush toys that provide entertainment and satire for those critical of the former president. - **Political Satire Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a range of politically satirical products, like voodoo dolls and gag items, that allow people to express their opinions in a comedic way. - **Personalized Political Paddles:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design customizable paddle toys featuring the faces of various political figures to allow individuals to express their support or criticism for those figures through play. ### Who This Affects Most - **Toy Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate technology and interactive features into traditional toys to enhance user engagement and create new play experiences. - **Political Merchandise:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate sustainable materials and eco-friendly manufacturing processes into the production of political merchandise to meet the growing demand for environmentally conscious products. - **Humor and Satire Publishing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative platforms and distribution channels for humor and satire content to reach a wider audience and capitalize on the popularity of political comedy. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pro-Abortion Pleasure Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dame.md) - [Bathroom Humor Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pass-the-ass-game.md) - [Vibrant Unwinnable Board Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no-worries-if-not.md) - [Anti-Gun Water Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antigun-water-toys-jayhayspray20-promotes-change-in-societys-relationship-w.md) - [Insulting Card Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/winsults-roasting-card-game.md) - [Chili-Centered Card Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chop-drop-chili.md) - [Flatulence-Firing Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buttheads-fart-launcher-3000.md) - [Desktop Miniature Sports Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-beach-volleyball.md) - [Candy Challenge Card Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beanboozled-taste-the-truth.md)
