These have a modern structure and invite guests to visit and experience nature in a unique way that brings attention to sustainability. The Burl treehouses are a concept and they fuse organic design with a minimal and subtle nature. The inspiration behind the treehouse is the [natural shape of tree burls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/don-heston-studio), which is a rounded and textural growth on tree trunks. It floats effortlessly in the air and merges with the beautiful setting. It is supported by a slender slit and [suspension cables anchored to the trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sawmill-treehouse). This reduces the disruption to the forest floor as it is suspended in the air.
