Burger King launched a burger pop-up in Costa Rica with The Vegetarian Butcher and it's one that's entirely plant-based. According to Burger King, "Costa Rica is one of the best-performing plant-based markets in LAC for Burger King, based on sales of the Veggie Whopper."

At the plant-based fast food pop up in Costa Rica, people will be able to get a taste of menu items like Veggie Nuggets, the Veggie Whopper and Veggie King.

With its ever-expanding menu of meatless options, Burger King is on a mission to prove that plant-based meat isn't just for vegetarians. Catering to vegetarians to flexitarians alike, these meatless options recognize the changing needs and values of guests and the planet. Sabrina Ferretti, VP, Head of Burger King International Marketing, says "Burger King has introduced plant-based burgers in 70 countries and the ultimate goal is to offer plant-based options in our restaurants all over the world.”
