[Burger King](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burger-king-vote) in Brazil is taking a political stance, motivating individuals to vote through a campaign that serves 'Blank Whoppers.' The publicity stunt is done in collaboration with [DAVID The Agency](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/confusing-times) and it is meant to proactively confront citizens who might not vote during the Brazilian presidential election.

The burger campaign is quite clever and it surprisingly addresses political disengagement in a very accessible manner. The 'Blank Whopper' was delivered to consumers with minimal ingredients — only onions and mayo, for example, or with nothing at all. Burger King in Brazil cleverly slipped in a note with it that read: "Choosing a blank ballot is waiving your right to choose; and when you let someone choose for you, you can’t complain about the results."
