# Burger Easter Eggs Studio DIY's Homemade Burger Eggs for Easter are Festive and Food-Focused By Alyson Wyers | Published 2016-03-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burger-eggs References: [howsweeteats](http://www.howsweeteats.com/2016/03/currently-crushing-on-130/) & [studiodiy](http://studiodiy.com/2016/03/21/diy-burger-easter-eggs/) There is still just enough time to make these DIY burger eggs for Easter. Created by [Studio DIY](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragments-becoming), the [homemade Easter eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easter-egg-hunt-cupcake-kit) are food-focused and decorated to look just like an oblong [cheeseburger](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wafu-hanjuku-tsukimi-zeppin-cheesenburger). To make your own, you will need hardboiled brown eggs (to mimic the buns), non-toxic markers in colors like white, red and brown, yellow paper, white school glue, scissors and green streamers or tissue paper. Of course, you can also improvise a bit depending on your favorite burger toppings. The festive burger eggs can also be accompanied with faux french fries in a basket to complete the look. Either way, it is a fun craft to do on a rainy spring day. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [DIY](https://www.trendhunter.com/diy) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **DIY Easter Crafts:** Providing an opportunity for individuals to create their own unique and festive Easter decorations using common household items and creative techniques. - **Food-inspired Easter Eggs:** Tapping into the growing trend of food-themed Easter eggs, offering a fun and whimsical twist on traditional egg decorating traditions. - **Creative Easter Egg Decorations:** Encouraging individuals to think outside the box and explore unconventional ways to decorate their Easter eggs, fostering creativity and personal expression. ### Who This Affects Most - **Arts and Crafts:** The arts and crafts industry can capitalize on the demand for DIY Easter crafts by offering innovative and creative products and supplies. - **Food and Beverage:** Restaurants and food brands can create marketing campaigns and products inspired by food-themed Easter eggs, targeting consumers seeking unique and food-related holiday experiences. - **Education and Entertainment:** Schools, community centers, and entertainment venues can organize Easter egg decorating workshops and events that promote creativity, imagination, and experiential learning. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Breakfast-Inspired Easter Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chocolate-egg-easter.md) - [Meatball-Shaped Easter Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meatballshaped-easter-egg.md) - [Easter Popcorn Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ms-fried-egg-choccorn.md) - [Viral Chocolate Easter Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pistachio-kataifi-breton-egg.md) - [Paintable Easter Chocolates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-kit-easter-edition.md) - [Easter-Ready Madeleine Recipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easter-egg-madeleines.md) - [Easter Marshmallow DIY Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-and-decorate-dozen.md) - [Egg-Topped Moon Festival Burgers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lotterria-tsukimi-burgers.md) - [Herbaceous Easter Eggs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garlic-herb-easter-egg.md)
