# Professional Mentor Networking Apps Bumble Bizz Connects Users to Professionals in Their Area By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2017-10-02 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bumble-bizz References: [digitaltrends](https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/bumblebizz-bumble-women-jobs/) & [bumble](https://bumble.com/) The Bumble Bizz app functionality looks to expand the immense popularity of the [dating app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bumbles-holiday-campaign) to let users expand their [professional network](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/justnetwork), find a mentor or a mentee, or perhaps even find their dream job. The new feature lets users create their professional profile that is different from their dating profile in that it lets them list their current profession, education and much more. This information is then used by Bumble to find other professionals in the area that they can connect with to start chatting about who they might mutually know or how to further their career. [Business networking](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/badavas-ai) has been a mainstay aspect of the professional world for many years but is being somewhat negated by younger people who are just entering the workforce. This is being acknowledged with new solutions like Bumble Bizz that speak to their preference for app-based communication. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 90% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Simplified Connection Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connection-apps.md) - [AI-Powered Socialization Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bu-app.md) - [In-App Recommendation Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recommend-to-a-friend.md) - [Professional Networking Matches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/osmos.md) - [Young Professional Community Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yuppie.md) - [Social Professional Productivity Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/likemind-app.md) - [Professional-Focused Dating Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/busy-professionals.md) - [Curated Professional Dating Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxy-dating-service.md) - [Smart Networking Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-networking1.md)
