# Ammunition Funeral Vessels The Bullet Urn Lets the Deceased Go out with a Bang By Matt Ho | Published 2011-08-04 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bullet-urn References: [bornrich](http://www.bornrich.com/entry/final-goodbye-holy-smoke-bullet-urns/) & [myholysmoke](http://www.myholysmoke.com) If you've ever wanted to go out with a bang -- literally, the Bullet Urn will help you take care of that. The company [Holy Smoke](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holy-hydrogen) is behind the Bullet Urn, which will let you deal with death in a shoot-'em-up style. Normally when someone gets cremated, you place the remains in a larger vessel that's been done up beautifully. Well, the Bullet Urn lets your store the ashes of your loved ones inside an actual bullet. Yes, you can actually fire these bad boys if you want. The best part is that you can even have the company customize your order with [handcrafted and labeled decorative boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/klaro-30-caliber-smoke-can-humidor), which will store all the bullets and cartridges you need. The way I see it, exiting the world while being launched at about 870fps (depending on the gun, anyway) is pretty epic. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Life](https://www.trendhunter.com/life) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Customized Funeral Merchandise:** Companies can explore the opportunity of offering personalized funeral merchandise that reflects the interests or personalities of the deceased. - **Unique Cremation Rituals:** There is a market for innovative cremation rituals that provide a more memorable and unconventional way of saying goodbye to loved ones. - **Integration of Technology in Funeral Services:** The funeral industry can adopt technology to enhance the funeral experience and offer new services such as virtual memorials or interactive digital platforms. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Funeral and Memorial Services:** Companies in the funeral and memorial services industry can explore offering customizable funeral merchandise like the Bullet Urn to cater to unique client preferences. - **Personalized Keepsake Industry:** The personalized keepsake industry can find new opportunities by creating unique and customized products that allow people to memorialize their loved ones in unconventional ways. - **Technology and Funeral Services:** The technology and funeral services industry can develop innovative solutions to integrate technology into funeral rituals and offer digital platforms for virtual memorials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Commemorative Urn Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/commemorative-urn.md) - [Mycelium-Made Biodegradable Urns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sail-funerary-urn.md) - [Expandable Spherical Monolithic Urns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urna-project.md) - [3D-Printed Ecological Funeral Reefs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/resting-reefs.md) - [Design-Forward Funerary Urn Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/funerary-urn.md) - [Biodegradable Pet Urns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paw-pods-1.md) - [Post-Mortem Pet Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cirius-beam-projector.md) - [Life-Size Casket Coolers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casket-cooler.md) - [Humorous Macabre Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coffin-office-chair.md)
