# Insectified Computer Gear The BUG Wireless Mouse Will Infest Your Laptop By Alex Scott | Published 2010-03-18 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-wireless-mouse References: [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/Gallery/BUG/455446) Though I recently purchased my first laptop, I will never be able to give up my trusty mouse--those track pads just aren't for me. That being said, my mouse is becoming pretty crusty and outdated. I mean, it still has a cord for God's sake. I would like to get something a little more sleek and stealthy, something like the BUG wireless mouse. Designed by Love Chaurasia, the BUG wireless mouse has a sort of cybernetic beetle thing going on about it that I really dig. Let's hope this thing makes it through the [concept phase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/computer-mouse-concept) and into the marketplace. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Wireless Computer Accessories:** Opportunity for developing innovative wireless computer accessories, such as the BUG wireless mouse. - **Cybernetic Design:** Opportunity for incorporating cybernetic design elements in consumer electronic products, like the beetle-inspired BUG wireless mouse. - **Sleek and Stealthy Gadgets:** Opportunity for creating sleek and stealthy gadgets, including updated computer peripherals like the BUG wireless mouse. ### Where This Applies - **Electronics Manufacturing:** Opportunity for electronics manufacturers to produce wireless computer accessories like the BUG wireless mouse. - **Product Design and Development:** Opportunity for product design firms to incorporate cybernetic design elements in consumer electronic products, similar to the BUG wireless mouse. - **Technology Retail:** Opportunity for technology retailers to offer sleek and stealthy gadgets, including updated computer peripherals like the BUG wireless mouse. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist Shell-Like Mice](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fabio-verdelli-design-studio.md) - [Honeycomb-Inspired PC Peripherals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keyboard-and-mouse-design.md) - [Flatpack Computer Peripherals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/morph-wireless-mouse.md) - [Aggressively Armored Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/battletank-mouse.md) - [Retro-Themed Wireless Mouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lofree-touch-pbt.md) - [Steampunk Multifunctional Computer Mouse](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/d-mouse.md) - [Sleek Stingray-Inspired Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mylio-mouse.md) - [Sushi-Inspired Computer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moushi-mouse.md) - [Multi-Functional Computer Mouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-computer-mouse.md)
