# Insect-Inspired Light Fixtures The 'Bug Light' Pet Lamp is Adorable and Easy to Care For By Cody Turner | Published 2012-07-31 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-light-pet-lamp References: [design-milk](http://design-milk.com/have-you-ever-wanted-a-pet-lamp/) & [omerinbar](http://www.omerinbar.com) From Israeli designer Omer Inbar comes the very first 'Bug Light' Pet lamp. Unlike most pets, these [light fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grejsimojs) require little to absolutely no responsibility to take care of, making them the ideal pet. The 'Bug Light' Pet Lamp is a small product that comes in the shape of three insects -- a spider, a mini ant and the praying mantis. While each pet lamp is sold separately, they do look great together as a collection. A personal touch that I enjoy is the [adorable packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp) that each 'Bug Light' Pet Lamp comes in; the box has small breathing holes on each so that the pet lamp can breath.
