The Shenzhen and Hong Kong bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture has brought to light some pretty unique and amazing designs, and this Bug Dome by WEAK! architects is one of them.

[Inspired by insects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/host) and situated in between the Shenzhen City Hall and an illegal workers camp, the Bug Dome by WEAK! is a [shelter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/belalu-dome-villa) made out of [flexible bamboo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bamboo-housing) by designers Marco Casagrande, Hsieh Ying-Chun and Roan Ching-Yueh. Included inside the structure is a stage for music, poetry readings, and karaoke. Interestingly enough, the designers say, “After the Biennale the Bug Dome will act as an un-official social club for illegal workers from the Chinese countryside.”
