# Musical Magazine Pages Hear Will.i.am's New Song 'Great Times' with Budweiser's Vinyl Ad By Sarah Nazim | Published 2012-05-19 | Marketing Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/budweisers-first-vinyl-ad References: [adweek](http://www.adweek.com/news/advertising-branding/ad-day-budweiser-140573) & [budweiser](http://www.budweiser.com/) Budweiser's Vinyl ad is bringing back the 70's with this creative advertising campaign for the singer Will.i.am; the idea was conceptualized by the Brazilian agency known as Agência Africa in São Paulo. Budweiser is in partnership with Will.i.am in Brazil, and that is how this whole engaging idea came about. In order to promote the singer's latest single called Great Times, magazine pages were made into actual vinyl ads that can be played on a turntable. The concept is absolutely fitting for both parties, as beer is usually consumed among peers in social area's such as bars and night clubs. The exact same place that music is blasted off of turntables. Could this be an indication of record players making a comeback? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.5/10 - Popularity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Marketing](https://www.trendhunter.com/marketing) > [Interactive](https://www.trendhunter.com/interactive) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portraits Made From Peas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lee-mericks.md) - [Interactive Music Expeditions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ultrabook-project.md) - [Mega Performances for Presidents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inauguration-schedule-beyonce.md) - [Superstar Androids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-robotics-championship.md) - [Anheuser-Busch Brewing Craft Beers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anheuser-busch-brewing-craft-beers.md) - [Budweiser Nun Chucks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cement-filled-budweiser.md) - [Budweiser Introduces Barbeque Sauces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/budweiser-introduces-barbeque-sauces.md)
