Deceptively airy, it features some interesting accents that will make life easier. Designed by Emanuele Canova, the Bucefalo Sofa not only provides a comfortable expanse to rest on, it also has a shelf on which to store important items. Furthermore, it is designed to create the illusion of additional space by way of an open concept. Yet, that extra space beneath the Bucefalo Sofa can also be smartly utilized. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Small Space Seating:** Designing comfortable and functional furniture for small city condo spaces is a crucial trend. - **Multi-functional Furniture:** Incorporating storage and other useful features into furniture to make the most of limited space is another important trend. - **Open Concept Design:** Designing furniture that creates an illusion of additional space through open concept design is an emerging trend. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can capitalize on the need for comfortable and functional furniture for small city condo spaces. - **Home Decor:** Home decor industry can benefit by offering multi-functional furniture that complements small spaces but also provides additional functionality. - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry can use this trend to market small city condo spaces that have been designed with limited space in mind. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Bulbous Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buffo.md) - [Laidback Modular Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natuzzi-bao.md) - [Modular Minimalist Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zonatta-bumper-sofa.md) - [Systematic Seating Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybla-seating-system.md) - [All-in-One Modular Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rezy-sofa.md) - [Modular Sofa Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybla.md) - [Voluptuous Texture Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bretz-balaao.md) - [Modular Coffee Table Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silky-sofa.md) - [Rippled Modular Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puffa-furniture.md)
