This photo of the Bubble Nebula was taken in July 2009 by the [South Common Observatory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/south-food-courts) in Britain. The stellar balloon is located 7,100 light-years from Earth and is about 6 light-years in diameter. The first pictures of the Bubble Nebula were taken by [NASA](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/advanced-telescope-design)’s [Hubble Space Telescope](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seestar-s30) in 1997 (hello, 'Hubble Bubble' title).

The Bubble Nebula moves at around 4.5 million miles per hour and when you rub against it, a carpet will stick to your head (or not).
