It is a [shelter that conveniently and easily unfurls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canvascamp-mouflon-tent) before their eyes to provide just enough room for one person. [Shaped as a cube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alphago-cube), it isn't a typical tent. First of all, it doesn't require the hassle of setting up poles. Designed by Bibi Lab, the BT1-11 Foldable Lonely Tent is not meant to replace a full tent. Instead, it acts as a [makeshift office for photographers and journalists](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campers-dens) out in the field. As affordable as it is convenient, the BT1-11 Foldable Lonely Tent can accommodate a desk and shelving. It boasts a large doorway and air vents for circulation. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Foldable Personal Shelters:** Develop foldable and easy-to-setup shelters to provide impromptu privacy and confinement opportunities in limited spaces. - **Mobile Workspaces:** Create affordable and lightweight shelters for workers who need impromptu privacy and windproof sheltering capabilities while working on-the-go. - **Multipurpose Enclosures:** Design a multipurpose cubical shape enclosure that can be used as a pop-up store, field office, or outdoor photo studio. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor and Camping Gear:** Outdoor gear manufacturers can develop more portable and lightweight pop-up shelters that offer photogenic and attractive design functionalities. - **Media and Journalism:** Journalists and photographers can benefit from mobile workspaces that provide impromptu office-like setups to work in the field for interviews, photo-shoots, or to escape environmental factors such as harsh sunlight or strong winds. - **Emergency and Disaster Relief:** Emergency responders can use these foldable, easy-to-deploy shelters to provide impromptu privacy and protection to medically unstable patients and small families during disasters and emergencies. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Quick Inflatable Spacious Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cube-tent.md) - [Structural Single-Person Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oneperson-tent.md) - [Experimental Shelter Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grayhus.md) - [Compactly Cubical Camping Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubical-camping-shelters.md) - [Inflatable House-Shaped Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-architecture-inflatable-tent.md) - [Modular Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backpacking-tent-concept.md) - [Pop-Up Emergency Shelters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-nova-bothy-bag.md) - [Expansive Multipurpose Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multipurpose-tents.md) - [Technical Expansion Tent Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/23-home.md)
