Joining the slew of uniquely geeky engagement photo sessions themed after [‘Star Wars’](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-engagement-photo-shoot) and [zombies](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amanda-rynda), this series takes it up a notch. Instead of lightsabers and the undead, Bryan and Anne enter a cartoon world in which Archie and the gang are their best friends. Shot by Jervy Santiago of Visionary Photography Hub, the Bryan + Anne Cinematic E-Pictorial engagement photo series was styled and storyboarded by Krista Nogueras and illustrated by AJ Sarmiento. Creative director Mike Lavarez says, “Bryan and Anne wanted something unusual and beyond real. [B]eing spontaneous, fun and outgoing they fell into the perfect notion of comics. Infusing acting, photography and [comic illustration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamcanvas), we bring them into the bright world of Riverdale.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Geeky Engagement Photos:** The trend of uniquely themed engagement photo sessions inspired by geek culture presents an opportunity for innovative photographers and stylists to create immersive and personalized experiences. - **Cartoon-inspired Engagement Photos:** Inspired by comic books like Archie, engagement photos that bring couples into the world of cartoons offer a unique and playful way to capture their love story. - **Illustrated Storyboarding:** The use of illustrated storyboards in engagement photo sessions opens up possibilities for collaborations between photographers and illustrators, creating visually stunning and narrative-driven experiences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography:** Photographers can embrace the trend of themed engagement photo sessions by offering specialized services that cater to clients who want to incorporate their interests and passions into their photos. - **Fashion and Styling:** Stylists and fashion experts can collaborate with photographers to create customized looks and settings that perfectly match the chosen theme of the engagement photo session. - **Illustration and Graphic Design:** Illustrators and graphic designers can explore partnerships with photographers to bring fictional worlds to life through illustrated storyboarding in engagement photo sessions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Regency Wedding Stationery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bridgerton-x-the-knot.md) - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md) - [Pet-Inspired Proposal Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engaged-couples.md) - [Forward-Thinking Wedding Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anthropologie-weddings-x-pinterest.md) - [Next-Day Wedding Photos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wedding-photos.md) - [Co-Branded Wedding Invitation Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wedding-invitation-suite.md) - [Modern Wedding-Inspired Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wedding-shop-campaign.md) - [Personalized Comic Book Creation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamcanvas.md) - [Onion Ring Proposals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onion-ring-proposal.md)
