His most recent show at Kunsthall Bergen, ‘From Someone Who Nearly Died but Survived’, showcases the unicorn entrapment in a series of [abstract and design centric illusions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jeffrey-deitch-art-gallery). When walking through the illusion, you pass through a narrow corridor covered in silencing foam rubber and end up in a claustrophobic space where an [immense glass cabinet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faraday-cage) covers the entire wall. Inside it, a [life-size unicorn](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog) emerges out of a thick, slowly moving fog. This illusion captures the idea of mythology and unveils it in a artistic zoo-like feature. Børre Sæthre is known for his out-of-the-box artwork and ideology. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Illusion Art:** Exploring the use of illusions in art installations to captivate and engage viewers. - **Mythological Representations:** Creating artistic representations of mythical creatures to evoke a sense of wonder and intrigue. - **Abstract Design:** Utilizing abstract and design-centric elements to challenge traditional artistic boundaries and perceptions. ### Where This Applies - **Art and Design:** Opportunities for artists to push the boundaries of creativity and engage audiences through innovative installations and sculptures. - **Entertainment and Events:** Incorporating illusion art and mythological representations into immersive experiences and events to create memorable and unique entertainment options. - **Interior Design and Architecture:** Incorporating abstract design elements and illusions into interior spaces and architectural structures for visually striking and thought-provoking environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wonderous Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Immersive Light Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Lightning-Inspired Artful Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bright-light-shining.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Optical Illusion Replica Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liberty-science-center.md) - [Gas Rig Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/striking-art-installation.md) - [Digital Archetype Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christian-rex-van-minnen-1.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Artful Suspended Fashion Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-figures.md)
