Not Really! This is actually an [artistic centerpiece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jacob-co-and-costa-design) which could double to [display fruit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circuit). Diplomat Design has gone all out with the finish of this [bronze piece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flor-de-bronce). The outer edges of the piece are polished to give it an almost liquid appearance while the inner rings are left with a dull, matte glow. Unfortunately, some of the qualities of the piece are lost in the photography. It doesn't really look like much for $2,100. However, the piece in real life is more stunning. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 10% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Artistic Centerpieces:** Opportunities for creating unique and visually captivating centerpieces for various occasions and events. - **Metallic Finishes:** Innovative ways to incorporate polished and matte metallic finishes in design and decor. - **Functional Sculptures:** The potential to combine art and functionality in sculptural pieces that serve a practical purpose. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Creating one-of-a-kind artistic centerpieces for home and commercial interior design projects. - **Event Planning:** Integrating artistic centerpieces into event decor to enhance the overall aesthetic and ambiance. - **Fine Art:** Exploring the intersection of fine art and functional design in the creation of sculptural pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Luxe Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/benchmade-gold-class-knives.md) - [Hand-Carved Bronze Bone Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wesn-scrimshaw-henry-collection.md) - [Minimalist EDC Dagger Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/copper-sheath-dagger.md) - [Artistic Wine Opener Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artistic-wine-opener.md) - [Collaborative Watchmaker Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shinola-x-giantmouse-brass-perlage-bleecker-knife.md) - [Streetwear-Branded Punching Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/justin-reed.md) - [Luxury High-Strength Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-james-brand-the-barnes.md) - [Art Deco-Inspired Pocket Knives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kershaw-noventa-knife.md) - [Bronze Luxury Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bronze-lilith-table.md)
