A perfect blend of sleek, chic design with a unique, sci-fi feel, it is sure to brighten up any living space. According to the designer, the Brodie Neill Reverb Chair was “inspired by the [reverberation of sound](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beosound-2-vollebak).” Something like an ear-drum, this hand-formed, reflective seating seems more like a [home decor centerpiece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arnardo-desk) rather than a functional furniture piece. I guess that makes it an even more worthwhile purchase. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Futuristic Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore ways to integrate futuristic design elements into various industries. - **Psychedelic Influences:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Apply psychedelic influences to interior design and decor products to create unique and captivating experiences. - **Sculptural Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop sculptural furniture pieces that function as both artistic statements and practical items for everyday use. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce futuristic and psychedelic elements into interior design concepts and products. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Innovate home decor offerings by incorporating sculptural and reflective elements inspired by sound and design aesthetic. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Rethink traditional furniture manufacturing processes to create unique sculptural furniture designs that push the boundaries of form and function. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Therapeutic Seating Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reflect-1.md) - [Natural Sound-Amplifying Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amplification-of-the-senses-chair.md) - [Music-Inspired Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-chair1.md) - [Mindful Wooden Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tanuvi-hegde.md) - [Otherworldly-Inspired Dynamic Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmos-chair.md) - [Modern Seating Centerpieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-chair.md) - [Upcycled CD Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-disc-chair.md) - [Dynamic Futuristic Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polarisgo-chair.md) - [Visual Sound-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frequency-20.md)
