The broccoli flute is probably the most absurd, yet [eco instrument](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balls-in-concert) I have ever seen. Remarkably, a man has figured out how to carve a [piece of broccoli](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/broccoli-cheddar-pizookie) so that it enables him to blast out recognizable tunes. In this video, the creative Japanese musician plays the carrot-stuffed broccoli stem to the tune of classic Christmas carol, 'Angels We Have Heard on High.'

[YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chopstix) user Heita3 plays the 'instrument' with the accompaniment of his wife. While this video was uploaded two Christmases ago, it's picked up a lot of buzz in the last few days, and could likely get viral status so close to the holidays.
