# Whimsical Flower Phone Cases Britt Bass Turner Spreads Cheer with Her Technology-Based Art By Davina Sinnatamby | Published 2014-03-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/britt-bass-turner References: [coolhunting](http://www.coolhunting.com/design/britt-bass-turner-ipad-and-iphone-cases.php) & [brittbass](http://www.brittbass.com/) Artist Britt Bass Turner’s [iPad](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-1) and [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/confettiinspired-phone-case) accessories are the right kind of bright and bold. When your cases are too flashy they end up looking tacky but these abstract designs are reminiscent of artist Ken Done’s work. Turner’s cases are vibrant with thick brushstrokes and have a playful appeal. She uses acrylic paint and hopes to spread color and happiness to the places the cases end up in. Turner’s artsy cases brighten up the monotony of daily life by turning your device case into a work of art. She calls herself a “painter of fun” and I can see why. The pops of color and lines are whimsical and cheerful not to mention her art proves that sometimes life is better when you paint outside the lines.
