# Peg-Based Storage Systems The Brighten by Cool Enough Studio is Completely Customizable By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-10-11 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brighten-by-cool-enough-studio References: [coolenoughstudio](http://coolenoughstudio.com/portfolio/brighten/) The Brighten by Cool Enough Studio is a storage system that offers you a great deal of freedom to arrange it however you like. Almost every surface of the entertainment unit is covered in a grid of round holes, and each one of these is able to accommodate the secure placement of a peg. With a supply of wooden dowels, one can freely form hangers and ledges that can hold miscellaneous items, cables and various electronics. The flexible piece of furniture is particularly practical for organizing devices like TVs, stereos and speakers because the openings in the aluminum panels allow for the easy passage and concealment of cords. Brighten by Cool Enough Studio also incorporates drawers to stash things like DVDs and audio albums. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 40% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Peg-based Storage Systems:** Innovative storage solutions that use pegs as a customizable element, enabling users to create unique storage configurations that suit their needs. - **Flexible Furniture:** Furniture that can be easily rearranged and customized to accommodate the changing needs of users, allowing for greater adaptability and flexibility. - **Concealed Cords:** Storage solutions that offer concealed routing for cords and cables, improving the aesthetics and functionality of electronic devices. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovative furniture designs that incorporate customizable elements like pegs, enabling greater flexibility and personalization for consumers. - **Home Entertainment:** Home entertainment systems that require efficient and practical storage solutions to neatly organize devices and cables and minimize clutter. - **Interior Design:** Innovative storage solutions that incorporate design and functionality to provide consumers with aesthetically pleasing and efficient options for organizing and storing their belongings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Customizable Storage Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelved-modular-furniture.md) - [Customizable Style-Conscious Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ledoux-modular-shelf-system.md) - [Flexible Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brickbox-modular-shelving.md) - [Modern Convertible Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blendend.md) - [Adaptable Flat-Pack Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-pack-shelving.md) - [Modular Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/original-modern-shelving.md) - [Modular Organized Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unit-shelving-system.md) - [Modular Office Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/form-us-with-love-1.md) - [Adaptable Organizer Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-square-organizer.md)
