The special ingredient behind Hawaii-based photographer Brigette Bloom's enchanting images of nature is certainly not love; it's actually [her own urine](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/urify1).

In an unusual turn of events, Bloom gives her [film canister](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nonnas-cam) a little bit of a "golden shower," as they say, soaking it in a cup of her own pee. The result is surprisingly beautiful, as the urine distorts the emulsion, creating [spots that resemble amoebas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shiyuan-xu) on each frame.

The series, which is called 'Float On,' was inspired by a spot she used to visit with her dog. However, she gradually began spending less and less time there, as it was discovered by others. She explains, It was a truly sacred place to me. […] As time went on, I started noticing a couple people wandering in the desert. It just felt like it wasn’t our secret refuge anymore. I knew it was time for me to ‘float on’ and find new places. This series is my way of saying thank you to the desert, and a farewell at the same time.”
