The potential design uses with [LEGOs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brooklyns-architectural-history) are almost endless and the '[Bridge Engineering](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fw-ji-covered-bridge-on-aqueduct)' exhibition at 'London's Institute of Civil Engineers' is currently displaying a bridge made with the popular children's toy.

The bridge is made from more than 250,000 individual LEGO bricks and is longer than the length of three, end-to-end London City Buses. It weighs more than 1,600 lbs and has broken the World Record for the longest LEGO suspension bridge. It was designed as a replica of the Severn Bridge in the United Kingdom. The LEGO bridge was designed by "certified LEGO professional" Duncan Titmarsh and his company 'Bright Bricks.'

Bridge Engineering's LEGO bridge display is indicative of the architectural importance of something as simple as a children's toy.
