The NOJI Architects firm put together a brick home that bridges together the old and new design of different eras using [reclaimed bricks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beam-cultural-center) in a new structural concept. The seamless transition between both old and new design offers a new perspective on using past architectural creations in a fresh way.

The project, entitled Brick Addition, focuses on the reusing of antiquated bricks into a newly designed home in Dublin. The house features a rebuilding of a previous design that incorporates adding a [new extension to the premises](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hops-house) to make the space more functional. To bridge the two spaces together, the firm used [heritage bricks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mygunyah-by-the-circus) to join the two spaces seamlessly together as well as the original concrete into the newly designed large windows.
