Brian Parillo is a photographer who takes pictures of downtown L.A. architecture that show its beauty. What’s really cool about his work is the cleverness of abstract angles, which reveal some interesting geometric shapes most pedestrians would never notice. It’s clear that Parillo has an incredible eye for photography; see for yourself in the gallery above. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Abstract Architectural Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore new angles and perspectives to capture the beauty of architecture. - **Geometric Shapes in Urban Landscapes:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop ways to highlight and emphasize the hidden geometric elements in cityscapes. - **Enhancing Perception of Urban Areas:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Use innovative photography techniques to redefine how people perceive and appreciate urban environments. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Enhance photography techniques and tools to capture unique perspectives of architectural landscapes. - **Urban Planning:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilize abstract architectural photography to inspire creative urban design and architectural plans. - **Tourism and Travel:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Promote urban tourism by showcasing the hidden beauty of cities through abstract architectural photography. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Laser-Cut Urban Artistry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laser-cut-city-maps.md) - [Cali Modernism-Inspired Outdoor Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-cool.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Wabi-Sabi-Inspired LA Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sierra-towers.md) - [Renovated Asymmetric Building Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atwater-canyon.md) - [Paper-Made Mosaic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/real-life-architecture-exhibition.md) - [Digital City-Inspired Art Works](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-central-station.md) - [Historic Building Architecture Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-office.md) - [Graphic-Accented Brutalist Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jean-verville.md)
