This [wearable smart breathalyzer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drunk-driving-detection) is capable of tracking your blood alcohol content, before feeding the information to your smart phone via Bluetooth. This breathalyzer is designed to look and be held like a whistle, making it easy to use and blow into. The device absorbs the particles in users' exhaled breath, before analyzing and translating it and transmitting the data to users' smartphones via WiFi. Conveniently, the Breeze breathalyzer's [companion app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soberly) can then tell you what kinds of food you might want to eat to help you sober up, or even call you a cab so you can get home safe. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wearable Smart Breathalyzers:** The popularity of wearable smart breathalyzers presents clear opportunities for disruptive innovation in personal safety and healthcare industries. - **Smartphone-connected Health Devices:** The trend of smartphone-connected health devices provides opportunities for innovation in preventative healthcare with devices like Breeze. - **Connected Accessories:** The rise of connected accessories, like Breeze breathalyzer, creates disruption opportunities for companies who specialize in creating and integrating such accessories. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Personal Safety:** The wearable smart breathalyzer industry is a disruptive innovation within the personal safety industry. - **Healthcare:** The Breeze breathalyzer and other wearable smart breathalyzers present an opportunity for innovation within the healthcare industry in regards to preventative care. - **Smartphone Accessories:** The trend towards connected accessories like the Breeze breathalyzer creates opportunities for companies specializing in these products to emerge. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Connected Runner Breath Analyzers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wearable-breath-analyzer.md) - [Wearable Smart Rings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cue-ring.md) - [Noninvasive Breathing Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-breath-analysis.md) - [Workplace-Focused Alcohol Breathalyzers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alcohol-breathalyzers.md) - [Virus-Detecting Breathalyzers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/virusdetecting-breathalyzer.md) - [Revolutionary Alcohol Detection Software](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alcohol-detection-software.md) - [Wearable Breathing Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alveos-one.md) - [Breathing Exercise Wearables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/breathing-wearable.md) - [Wearer-Analyzing Respirators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ebcare-mask.md)
