That is because it takes on an adorable house shape complete with brightly colored upholstery that could easily be found in the playroom of a little girl. But that doesn't mean that the Break-Out Furniture collection isn't at all mature and sophisticated, it simply provides a relaxing retreat for those who need it. Designed by Singapore-based architect and designer Dymitr Malcew, the Break-Out Furniture collection is modular in order to suit various purposes. Whether joined together to create an [impromptu meeting area](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-table-and-chair) or used separately for individual breaks, the Break-Out Furniture collection is perfect for [open concept workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/officetopia). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 69% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modular Office Furniture:** Design furniture that can be easily arranged to create flexible workspaces for increased collaboration and productivity. - **Creative Breakout Spaces:** Bring a playful and comfortable vibe to office spaces with unique designs that provide privacy and relaxation for employees. - **Adaptable Workspace Solutions:** Create flexible and customizable furniture designs that meet the changing needs of modern workspaces and work styles. ### Where This Applies - **Office Furniture Industry:** Opportunities to disrupt the traditional office furniture market by offering innovative and creative designs that cater to modern workspaces and employee needs. - **Architecture and Interior Design Industry:** Offer services that emphasize creative and unique designs for office spaces, to create a welcoming, fun and functional work environment. - **Collaborative Workspaces Industry:** Develop new workspaces that prioritize employee needs and collaboration, offering respite areas for privacy and relaxation. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [People-Pleasing Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cubicle-system.md) - [Mountainous Modular Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/summit-furniture.md) - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Customizable Home Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rebound-furniture-collection.md) - [Charming Workplace Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zoozoo-collection-by-narbutas.md) - [Dynamic Modular Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunon-furniture-mixcube.md) - [Quirky Solo Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/work-capsules.md) - [Adaptable Office Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/homework-seating-collection.md) - [Contemporary Office Privacy Booths](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plenum-cabin-by-jaime-hayon-for-fritz-hansen.md)
