Leah Wei is a young artist that quickly gained popularity online for her 'Breadatorial series' in which she re-created high-fashion garments using bread. Fashion and art intersect for this creative project, which is both inspirational during times of isolation and highly shareable.

The idea behind this project started from a desire to take something cheap and accessible, and turn it into something high-end. Bread, was the perfect subject as it's both malleable and affordable. The end result is a series of creative pieces that were inspired by brands like Gucci, [Prada](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-show-space) and more. After the pieces are made, Wei styles them in photoshoots for [Instagram](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cereal-inspired-accessories). Some of the designs include ciabatta bralettes, and [focaccia purses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epure-xs-toast-bag).
