The [Braun](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/braun-wireless-earbuds) Bell concept mug is an idea that assists a blind person with pouring a [cup of tea or coffee](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cuptone-teacup) (or any drink, for that matter). The Braun Bell concept mug helps keep track of how much liquid is in the cup using sensor technology. You simply hold down the desired amount of liquid you want using the [Braille buttons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sakshar-braille) on the handle, and the cup will notify you (voice speaker) when the liquid has reached that point. The Braun Bell concept mug sounds easier than seeing and making coffee. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Assistive Technology for the Visually Impaired:** Opportunity to create innovative products that aid those with visual impairments in everyday tasks. - **Smart Devices for Independent Living:** Growth potential for technology that allows individuals with disabilities to live more independently. - **Inclusive Design:** Importance of designing products with accessibility in mind to create a more inclusive society. ### Where This Applies - **Kitchenware:** Potential for kitchenware companies to create more inclusive products that cater to those with disabilities. - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunity for consumer electronics companies to develop smart devices that aid those with visual impairments in daily activities. - **Assistive Technology:** Growing market for assistive technology products that cater to individuals with disabilities and aid them in everyday tasks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bell-Shaped Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-mug.md) - [Accessibility-Focused Coffee Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovative-coffee-machine.md) - [Utensil Holding Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1handmug.md) - [Curvaceously Ergonomic Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/porcelain-tumbler.md) - [Handle-Free Coffee Mugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinch-hold.md) - [4-in-1 Smart Coffee Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-smart-coffee-maker.md) - [Accessible Home Device Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessble-home-device.md) - [Desk Thermo Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alessi-buri-tumbler.md) - [Visual Impairment-Friendly Cooking Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haptics-of-cooking.md)
