# Branching Brass Lamps The Tribeca Franklin Chandelier Burgeons as a Modern and Contemporary Mix By Amelia Roblin | Published 2015-01-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/branching-brass-lamp References: [betterlivingthroughdesign](http://www.betterlivingthroughdesign.com/accessories/tribeca-franklin-chandelier/) & [store.menudesignshop](http://store.menudesignshop.com/tribeca-franklin-chandelier-p258.aspx) The design of this branching brass lamp is somehow both timeless and unique. Inspired by the hardware of 1930s lighting, this chic product takes on a form that's simultaneously natural and quite contemporary. An arboreal arrangement is achieved with slender metal bars that are screwed together into a crooked composition with small, three-sided connectors. Porcelain sockets are stuck to the ends of every twig-like bough of the pendant lamp, facilitating the hooking up of transparent lightbulbs. Like glowing golden foliage, these globes cast rays in every direction, producing sufficient illumination for a single room. Søren Rose's Tribeca Franklin Chandelier channels the glamor of early 19th century New York city with this piece that's named after one magnificent neighborhood. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 18% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Branching Brass Lighting:** The design of this sophisticated branching brass lamp mixes modern and contemporary styles, providing an opportunity for innovation in the lighting industry. - **Arboreal Lighting Arrangements:** This unique lamp design achieves an arboreal arrangement with slender metal bars, opening up opportunities in the home decor and interior design industries. - **Natural-inspired Lighting:** The natural and organic form of this chic branching brass lamp provides an opportunity for innovation in the lighting industry with a focus on bringing nature indoors. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Lighting:** The branching brass lamp design presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the lighting industry, offering a new and unique aesthetic for customers. - **Home Decor:** The arboreal arrangement achieved by this branching brass lamp design offers a chance for innovation in the home decor industry, providing a fresh and unique aesthetic to customers. - **Interior Design:** This innovative lamp design provides an opportunity for interior designers to incorporate natural-inspired and contemporary aesthetics into their designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Minimal Collaborative Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linea-selva.md) - [Experimental Ancestral Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kawabi.md) - [Dynamic Hand-Blown Glass Chandeliers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaris.md) - [Maximalist Arched Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oblure.md) - [Refined Sculptural Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-table-lamp.md) - [Tree Branch-Formed Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/celestial-attraction.md) - [Willow Tree-Inspired Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/larose-guyon.md) - [Twisting Timber Lampshade Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twisted-lasercut-wooden-lampshade.md)
